Available now: New PANDA version 6.3
The software package PANDA – continuously developed and optimized through adaptations to new scientific findings and technological standards. In the now available version 6.3 we have realized the following extensions of the scope of services:
Changes in PANDA, Version 6.3
- For Leica total station files and Trimble JobXML files, irregular saving of observations is supported
- The calculation of 2D/3D baselines for local nets has changed. The center of gravity of the appropriate points is calculated. With the help of the ellipsoidal coordinates of the center of gravity the baselines are rotated from the global cartesian system into the horizont system. If necessary, a rotation with respect to the Z-axis is still determined and applied. An adjustment of the scale does not take place.
- For Germany, quasigeoid heights and deviations of the vertical can be interpolated from the GCG2016. However, the GCG2016 is not supplied, but an ASCII file with the quasigeoid heights is required. The quasigeoid heights are taken into account in the adjustment.
- The program for approximate coordinate calculation generates a graph with the connections of the points among each other. No calculated point coordinates are used, but the point positions are derived using algorithms from graph theory. Brief description of the module as pdf file
